I am Vreni Studer-Moser and together with my husband Beat we are your hosts at Chalet Firn.
The house was built in 1948 by my father Otto Moser.
I spent my youth here together with my sisters and brothers. After moving away from Grindelwald I have always loved coming back into my parents' house.
In the past years there have been several renovations and modifications at the house.
My parents have been renting the flat in the roof to guests from the whole world until the early 90ties. After the death of my parents the flats have been shared between the three sisters. Beat and I bought the penthouse in 2012 and are happy about housing holiday guests again.
We're living in Matten and since Beat is retired, we're staying in our flat in the first floor quite often.
Together with my niece and her husband, which own the flat in the ground floor, we're looking after the house and its garden.
Our children have a strong connection to Grindelwald as well and assist us with renting our holiday appartment.
